What is your return / exchange policy?

Orders are eligible for a refund or exchange within 30 days from the date your order was shipped.

During the holiday season, we accept extended returns. All orders placed on November 15th or later are eligible for return until January 15th of the following year.

Items marked "clearance" are final-sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges. Please click here for instructions how to determine which items are considered final-sale items.

Free return options

  • Exchange for a different size
    • The return shipment cost is paid for by O'Neill. You will receive a pre-paid return label and you will not incur any restocking fee
    • Once we receive the return package, we will promptly ship to you the replacement size you requested
  • Exchange for a different product
    • The return shipment cost is paid for by O'Neill. You will receive a pre-paid return label and you will not incur any restocking fee
    • Using our online return portal, you will indicate which product you would like to receive in exchange
    • Once we receive the return package, we will promptly ship to you the exchange item you requested
    • If the exchange item you request is less expensive than the item you are returning, the balance will be refunded to on a gift card
  • Refund to gift card
    • The return shipment cost is paid for by O'Neill. You will receive a pre-paid return label and you will not incur any restocking fee
    • Once we receive the return package, you will receive a gift card delivered to your e-mail with the refund balance

Refund to original payment method

  • The return shipment cost is paid for by O'Neill and you will receive a pre-paid return label
  • Once we receive the return package, we will refund your original payment method with the refund balance less $7.99 to cover some of the costs.The fee is not charged for exchanges or refunds to gift card.

Other details

  • The original tags must be on the product to be eligible for a return.
  • Each order is eligible for only one pre-paid return label. Therefore you must request all returns / exchanges from your order at the same time.
  • If you received a free item with your order as part of a promotion, you must include the free item with your return. For exchanges, you may keep the free item if your order remains eligible for the promotion after the exchange.
  • If you need to submit a second return request for the same order, contact customer service to request an RMA number and then you may send back your item using the postal carrier of your choice.
  • Never mail us a return package without first obtaining an RMA number
